This dog was hit by a car, shot in the head by a police officer, put in a “doggie bag” (sorry, I couldn’t resist), thrown in a freezer, and is now walking around. According to one report, when asked what her most serious injuries were, the vet replied, “Hypothermia.” Wild stuff.

It snowed for a good part of the day. Another week and we’ll be talking about May snow. I’m still not ready to trade it for the subtitle I read on the Dallas Morning News website this week: If dry trend continues, summer could be hotter than usual. My yankee friends would disagree (because they don’t know any better), but I’ll take snow in April (even May) in exchange for summer highs in the 80s.
